NOIDA, November 4, 2025** – In a significant industry outreach initiative, the EPFO Regional Office, Noida, in collaboration with NITI Aayog,
organized an interactive seminar on “Social Security in Electronic Industry and PMVBRY” at Dixon Technologies Limited, Noida, on 4th November 2025.

The event brought together over 50 representatives from leading electronics manufacturing units including Dixon Technologies, Havells India, Motherson Technology Services, and Sunwoda Electronics, fostering dialogue on expanding social security coverage and leveraging the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY).

Focus on PMVBRY and Employer Incentives

The seminar featured open discussions moderated by Shri Rizwan Uddin, Regional PF Commissioner-I (PDUNASS) and Nodal Officer for NITI Aayog, along with
Dr. Sakshi Khurana, Senior Specialist, NITI Aayog, and Shri Suyash Pandey, Regional PF Commissioner (Noida).

Employers were encouraged to enroll under PMVBRY Parts A and B, which offer:

  • Employee incentive: One month’s PF wages (up to ₹15,000) for every new employee
  • Employer incentive: Up to ₹3,000 per additional employment generated

Interactive Q&A sessions addressed employer queries, leading to on-the-spot commitments for registration.

Showcasing Digital and Service Reforms

EPFO officials highlighted recent technological and procedural reforms, including:

  • Face Authentication Technology for UAN generation
  • Revamped ECR facilities
  • Simplified advance procedures
  • Digital Life Certification via India Post
  • Employee Enrolment Campaign 2025

Noida Office’s Service Delivery Milestones

The Noida Regional Office reported significant operational improvements:

  • Over 14.17 lakh claims settled in FY 2024–25
  • Rejection ratio reduced from 28% to under 20%
  • QR-code based appointment system for PRO visits
  • Daily footfall reduced from 700+ to approximately 300

Strengthening Industry-Institution Partnerships

The presence of Shri Samar Srivastava, Vice President of Dixon Technologies, underscored industry willingness to collaborate in social security
expansion. The seminar exemplified EPFO’s commitment to on-ground implementation and stakeholder engagement.

clarifications to industry doorsteps, EPFO is not only promoting formalization but also reinforcing the safety net for workers in growing sectors like
