NEW DELHI,04-NOV-2025** – The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and its affiliated organizations have successfully
concluded their participation in Special Campaign 5.0, the nationwide cleanliness and efficiency drive held from October 2–31, 2025, achieving
significant results in pendency reduction and workspace optimization.
Substantial Progress in Grievance Redressal and Cleanliness
Throughout the campaign, MSDE demonstrated strong performance across key parameters:
- 337 Public Grievances Addressed: Including 3 MP references, 7 Parliament Assurances, 307 Public Grievances, and 27 Public Grievance Appeals
- 1,836 Cleanliness Drives conducted across MSDE offices and institutions
- Space Optimization: Approximately 4,000 square feet of office space freed through systematic file management
- Revenue Generation: ₹7.58 lakh earned through disposal of scrap materials
Enhanced Record Management and Digital Efficiency
A dedicated workshop conducted with the National Archives of India strengthened record management practices, resulting in:
- 1,250 files reviewed
- 466 physical files weeded out
- 658 e-files reviewed, with 266 successfully closed Social Media Engagement and Nationwide Participation
The campaign gained significant traction through strategic social media advocacy on platforms including X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook, using the
hashtag #SpecialCampaign5. All attached, autonomous, and subordinate offices under MSDE across India participated enthusiastically, fostering a
collective commitment to cleanliness and efficient governance.
Building a Culture of Cleanliness and Efficiency
Special Campaign 5.0 has reinforced the importance of maintaining clean, organized, and efficient workspaces while accelerating grievance resolution and
environmental stewardship. By exceeding targets set during the preparatory phase, MSDE has reinforced its commitment to transparent, accountable, and
citizen-friendly administration.

Initiatives like Special Campaign 5.0 directly impact service delivery to skill seekers, trainees, and training partners. By reducing administrative
pendency and optimizing office operations, MSDE is better positioned to respond to stakeholder needs, process certifications faster, and create a more
responsive skilling ecosystem—ultimately benefiting millions of youth and workers across India.
