Faridabad, Haryana:- ON30 SEP 2025 The Regional Office of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in Haryana successfully concluded a vibrant Hindi Pakhwada (fortnight) with a closing ceremony and prize distribution programme on September 29, 2025. The event, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, underscored the organization’s commitment to promoting Rajbhasha Hindi in official work.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from all officers and employees of the Regional Office. In his presidential address, the chief guest, Shri Sugan Lal Meena, Regional Director, articulated a powerful vision for the use of Hindi. He emphasized that in a Hindi-speaking state like Haryana, it is a collective responsibility to conduct official business in the language. Shri Meena highlighted the practical significance of this initiative, stating, “This will help in reaching out to marginalized workers who are often unaware of the various benefits provided by the ESIC, ensuring our schemes are more accessible to those we serve.”

The ceremony was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including Dr. Abhishek Rai, State Medical Officer; Shri Brijesh Mishra, Assistant Director (Official Language); Shri Vinay Pritam Bakde, Assistant Executive Engineer; Deputy Directors Shri Shiv Shakti Sharma and Shri Ashok Kumar Yadav; Dr. Rakesh Roshan, Medical Vigilance Officer; and Shri Ravindra Kumar, Assistant Director.

The event was a fitting culmination to a fortnight of literary and cultural activities. A highlight of the ceremony was a soulful patriotic performance by renowned young poet and lyricist Shri Anil Kumar, which was warmly received by the audience.

Throughout the Pakhwada, a series of competitive events were organized to foster engagement with the official language, including essay writing, note-taking, official language knowledge tests, and speech competitions. The successful participants were honoured with mementos and certificates during the closing programme. Adding to the academic and cultural fervour, a book exhibition was also organized, providing insights into Hindi literature and official language policies.

The concluding ceremony served not only as a platform to recognize talent but also as a reaffirmation of ESIC Haryana’s dedication to integrating Hindi into its administrative fabric, thereby strengthening its connection with the beneficiary community.
